TECH HARBOR

Founded twenty years ago by entrepreneur and experienced startup consultant Georg Spiesberger, with support from the City of Linz, Upper Austria and the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG), TECH HARBOR provides occupants much more than just office space. Aimed at businesses working in technology and innovation, TECH HARBOR offers startups and established organizations a home base to develop and grow their businesses. TECH HARBOR launched their first building, TECHCENTER in 2002. In 2017, they opened their second building, NEUE WERFT, which is just a short walk away.

Both buildings are located along the DIGITAL MILE in the vibrant and dynamic harbor district of Linz. The DIGITAL MILE is an initiative led by Georg and a community of business leaders to develop a unique place to live and work in the harbor area, offering residents access to childcare, healthcare and a cosmopolitan and supportive community. Across both of TECH HARBOR’s buildings there is a range of fully equipped private offices, large canteens, meeting rooms and event spaces, roof terraces and breakout areas. TECH HARBOR also offers a full postal service and numerous networking opportunities, and all startups also benefit from subsidized office space for the first three years.
